A pre-pandemic “Report on the Economic Well-Being of US Households in 2018” (a study the Fed has been conducting since 2013) noted that an unexpected expense of $400 can force one-third of American adults into financial hardship. Twelve Plus One is a 501c3 started by women who have served as each other’s safety net for over 30 years. We are committed to growing our resources in support of others one life event away from financial crisis.
